RC Dumbthumbs is an online store dedicated to supplying only the finest in RC Helicopter parts and accessories to those individuals who have succumbed to the world’s greatest addiction, RC Helicopters. We are deeply involved in the sport and not only sell helicopters and parts, but fly almost every day. We participate in Funflys and compete in competitions. Our Mission
We understand the importance of great equipment. We know if you want to get the best out of your RC Helicopter, you have to put the best into it - but not everyone has deep enough pockets support their addiction at such level and not everyone (especially beginners and intermediate pilots) need the most advanced and expensive equipment. Like all hobbies, there is a value price point for RC helicopter kits, parts and accessories that offer an attractive alternative to intermediate and beginner pilots. And like all other hobbies, there are overpriced high-end equipment that attract the interests and hard earned dollars of newcomers that offer little real value at their stage of the learning curve. If you are an experienced pilot you already know what gear you are after. If you are new to this hobby, we hope to help you make the distinction and head you down the right path.

 

For the intermediate and beginner pilot, we offer a unique range of equipment that includes parts and kits such as Gaui Helicopters and Hyperion Atlas Servos that present the best value price point we have seen in this market. For the advanced pilot, we offer high end products from Curtis Youngblood and FlightPower. In some cases such as FlightPower Batteries and Hyperion battery chargers, we feel that what we offer is the best option regardless of skill level.

 

 

The one thing you won't find at RC DumbThumbs is junk. We don't carry any of the cheap little plastic heli kits that flood eBay and most online shops. These units are advertised as "3D" capable machines yet they have little or no parts support, cheesy inadequate gyros, sloppy rotor head systems and non-reusable radio systems. We have seen too many good folks bounced out of this hobby by getting lured into wasting their hard-earned hobby dollars down this dead-end path. The last thing we want to see is an eager, interested newcomer driven away from this hobby by unrealistic expectations and bad buying experiences. If you have fallen into making one of these purchases don't feel alone - most of us have been there...done that.
